Dream Life Word by Word

Hello Internet

I’m Lorelai, nice to meet ya!

Project manager by day, designer by night. Parent of a wonderfully feral fey child and all nerd all the time.

I was diagnosed with ADHD and ASD as an adult and found that finding resources to help me adjust and enrich my life in the new context I found myself in was not always so easy.

I wanted a way to help put out positive vibes and share all the things that I find relating to ADHD/ASD so I created this little blog.

What we do

Let’s make a difference

Hoardlings was created as a dedicated blog aimed at providing content that can serve as valuable resources for individuals with ADHD and ASD, as well as just sharing positive stories and good vibes.

We seek to cater to neurodivergent individuals, their families, and supporters. it is our hope to make life a little brighter for each person that comes to our page.

What even is a hoardling

Put simply: Everyone is a Hoardling

The idea of a hoardling was inspired by a skit created boy a TikTok content creator I follow (@dndhart, show her some love. You can find all her links here: linktr.ee/dndhart )

I love the idea of a dragon hoarding people because they are precious. I took that and ran with it because I like to think that people are precious and have value just by being who they are.

From that the little creature over there was created. Cute and deserving of love, they hide under their little sheets while seeking out adventure and little joys in life.

The joy of Hoardlings is that like humans they are filled with limitless potential. I love seeing that potential made manifest in others, so if I can help people reach their dreams even a little I want to do it.

Our Approach

Keep it simple

Tailored Content Creation

I focus on bringing together information about ADHD/ASD and getting it out there for people to find a bit easier. This includes new research into neurodivergent traits, tools that can enrich the lives of those that have ADHD/ASD, and resources specific to our community. All written from the perspective of someone that can relate.

Products from a member of the community for the community

I host a shop that has products designed by me relating to my experience as a neurotypical individual. We all like to see ourselves represented more in products we want.

I hope to use them to spread a little fun and simple joy in the world.
